Artist, Designer,
& Community Organizer

My journey into art & design happened organically while I was in college working as a makeup artist for M.A.C Cosmetics. There I developed a passion for color theory, attention to detail, and event planning. At the same time, I went to graduate school in the evenings and eventually earned my Masters of Business Administration. I then honed my project management and organizational skills as an Analyst and eventually a Category Manager within the wine industry. Eight years later I took a professional break to focus on raising my two children and leaned into many creative endeavors. My artistic perspective expanded as I painted murals and initiated community design projects.

Aside from creating and spending time with my family, I love to work within my various communities. I have served as the president of my alumni group, Community and Membership Co-Chair for my kids’ PTA, and the lead organizer for our annual neighborhood community event. I am also passionate about safety in my neighborhood and at my kids’ schools. I have coordinated with the San Francisco Fire Department’s NERT program to implement safety procedures in my neighborhood and have held an annual week of Earthquake safety awareness at my kids’ school. And recently I have served as the logo designer for our family reunion committee and my kids’ school PTA. It is through these various communities that I have been able to find projects to further refine my skills as an artist & graphic designer while at the same time giving back to each community in a meaningful way.
